Alright on my moms 2000 durango the left passenget door was making a horrible grinding noise whenever you locked or unlocked it. So i took off the door panel and everything looked ok so i just shut the door and now it wont open at all however the door wont open and the little knob lock thing wont go up or down so what shall i do any advice guys??

Most likely you broke the plastic clips that hold the actuator arms in their spots. they are these small plastic clips that hold the rods in the handle and the lock and various places.
You shoudl ba able to get your hand in there and pul on the right opne to unlatch the door
