Message: I'm looking change from my dumbo side mirrows to the smaller sport ones.
Q? Is there a difference in the mounting or match up for the 1999 -2000 and the 2001 to 2003? Thanks

Message: I just did the reverse, installed the 6X9s from a '99 to my '02 which had the 5X7s. They fit perfectly. Easy to do. If you have any questions, e-mail me.

Message: John, weren't you in that movie, with Harrison Ford, about the hot rods, and Wolfman Jack?

Message: Thanks John, I've heard that the wiring could be different with the year change of 2000 and 2001 to present. I have power with defrost mirrors and want to make sure before bidding on Ebay.
By the way, was that you in American Graffiti?
Dave

Message: Don't know about the wiring change, sorry. And yea, that was me the movie was made for, well, at least my little claim to fame, but couldn't prove it hehehe. Somehow, I think one of my friends from those days wrote the screen play, and then sold it to the studios! Not really, but the time frame was right, and even though I was running the streets in the South Bay Area with a bad a** car, the movie was in Modesto, if I recall. The scene where the rear end was ripped out of the patrol car really did take place in ca. 1962 at Johhny Macs in Mountain View, CA, on El Camino Real. I wasn't there, but everyone heard about it! Damn!, I did have alot of fun in those days. :)
