I'm running a 15.1 in the quarter at 89 mph.

I've got a 01 4.7 5sp reg cab 3.92 lim slip. I've made a homemade K&N air intake system. I've been trying to launch at around 1500rmps, but traction is my key problem. I'm modifying some universal lakewood traction bars to make contact at the corret position.

I'd like to know how other people are launching, what there 60' times are, and where they are shifting at. I find that I'm wanting to shift to 4th at the end of the track. I've held 3rd to 6 grand as well as shifted at 5500. I get the same ET's either way, but I get about 1mph better if I shift.

Thanks for all the help and info.
