Subject: removing TB IP: Logged
Message: hey all,
I have a 1994 dodge dakota V-8 Magnum. Can someone please explain to me how to remove the throtal body WITHOUT damageing anything. I am not a complete novice about vehicle. I can field strip a carb in 10 min, however I have never messed with fuel injection so any info would be great. thanks. Also to everyone who helped with the modifications to this site--It looks great.

Message: It is really easy
1- remove the air cleaner assembly]
2- unplug the vacuum lines (1 or 2) and electrical connections (3: TPS, IAC, and one otherI think)
3- unbolt the 4 TB bolts

Message: The fuel lines don't run through the throttle body, the magnums are multiport injected, i.e. the fuel injectors squirt into the manifold right above the combustion chamber so the only thing going through the TB is air.
