I own a 2000 Quad 4x4, 4.7 L, 50K miles, and I wonder if someone can tell me exactly how to replace the speedo sensor located on top of the rear transxale. I have read all the forum entries related to this subject but no one shows how to replace it.
The speedometer behaves erratically and is all over the scale and seems ramdon. After reading this forum that it appears that the problem is a bad speedo sensor, so I need to replace it. Also I get a P1687 error code (Cluster Bus error message), would this be related to the speed sensor?.
