Subject: Bump stops IP: Logged
Message: Has anybody who've upgraded their wheels to 17" or more gotten the bump stops? They're the urethane deals that protect the frame from bottoming out. I just acquired some R/T rims for 02 2WD QC. Regular suspension, neither raised nor lowered. Haven't priced tires yet, but if I'm about to spend $$ on rubber, I don't want any rubbing going on. I also don't do any offroading. Thanx.

Message: I'm not exactly sure what you are asking... I have the R/T wheels on my truck with the Nitto 275/50/17 and they don't rub at all... I am installing a C-Notch and new bump stops but that shouldn't have anything to do with rubbing.

Message: I guess what I'm trying to ask is, with pretty much city driving and the occasional pot hole, would I have to worry about rubbing with my R/T rims on a stock suspension?

Message: Shouldn't have to worry one bit. I have 18's with 50 series and I don't even come close.
