Subject: rear roll pan vs. PA state inspection IP: Logged
Message: any Dak or other truck owners in PA with a rear roll pan, will that pass Pennsylvania state safety inspection? I checked the PA state website for the inspection rules, and it's a litle vague on the rear bumper, saying is does have to have one if it was REQUIRED on the vehicle as built by the manufacturer.

Message: I was at Best Buy one day pulling out of the parking lot and some kid has just been pulled over in his lowered nissan truck. The officer and the kid were both at the rear roll pan taking measurements on height from the ground. I couldnt believe it when i saw my eyes. Sorry that wasnt much help, but it seems that there was something that had to do with the roll pan being illegal.

Message: it was not the roll pan that was illigal, it was the height of his truck.

Message: I know a few people here in PA with roll pans and they've never said anything about having trouble with inspection.
