on my way home from work tonight, i found my headlamps on my '97 Dakota won't illuminate. Running lamps and fogs work. Checked relay (big fuse) under hood) and it all looks ok. Anybody run into this before?

Recheck all fuses, there may be little ones in the box under the hood, also check the box inside. I cannot remember off hand where they are, I have also seen the switch itself fail often.

yeah...I have same problem with my 97....it's the switch that you use to flick on the brights...try flashing the brights a couple times...that usually does the trick for me..it's just a crappy design and gets stuck in between sometimes

My 95 has parking, flasher, tail, brake, backup,& turn signal lights. If you hold back the signal handle, high beams work. I have nothing off the switch (new from Dodge @!$20) I replaced the combination switch (turn signal block $70 @ Dodge), fuses are fine. bulbs are ok. no relay involved. Supposedly no fusagle links. I have no headlights, any ideas?????????? Thanks.
