I didn't have any problems. It just pops right off. Then you unscrew the factory the factory stereo. Just be carefull about scratching.

It is real simple, you will laugh when you actually get it off and look how easy it is! Just grab the black plastic piece and pull a little bit at a time it just has a number of clips behind it! don't worry about breaking the clips I have had mine on and off about 10 times!
