Message: Now while I'm a mopar fan I've owned a Fox body style GT stang in the past but after they stopped making the Fox body I've hated the new design they have now. But after seeing this, I think I'm in love all over again! Oops did I say that outloud?

Message: I would actually buy that silver Fastback...
I'd tweak it a little and make it a modern day Eleanor...

Message: I have a friend on the Stang team at Ford. The new Stang is built on a version Linclon LS chassis. It'll finally have independent suspension all around but will be lighter than the LS due to aluminum A arms and a shorter main chassis. I believe there is an all new engine going in the GT as well.

Message: Now that I've looked through the photos, I dont think the production car will look exactly like this. For instance the 20" rims will disappear for more conventional 17 or 18" units, the brembo brakes may be an option on the Cobra but I doubt the GT will have them. The interior is overly retro right now I think that will change. The guages wont be numbered in the round 60's style, I think the amount of AL accents will change, basically the interior will have reminders of the 60's cars but wont replicate them as this pre-production does. There is also no way on God's green earth that Ford will produce and engine bay that tidy. I think the car itself looks really cool but interior needs to go. Hopefully they will also upgrade the GT with a 6-speed manual.
