Message: Ok, I'm going to replace my front rotors and all four shocks. I've decided to go with Powerslot rotors and Edlebrock IAS shocks.
I don't see any open group buys for the parts and so far have only found the parts from truckperformace.com off of the links page. Has anyone had any luck with this company?
I am going to check the local autoparts store this week.
Thanks

Message: How hard is it to replace the front brakes on these QC's anyway? The dealer wants $200 to resurface the rotors and replace the pads - only 25K on them. Thinking of also swapping to Powerslots, but doing them myself.

Message: Ben - that is a common problem with the lower front shock bolt on Dakotas. Lots of wd40 or penetrating oil should be sprayed on the bolt prior to trying to remove it, or as you discovered, it breaks off. I've welded on some new mounts to my lower a-arms to resolve this poor design.
Julian - replacing your rotors is a walk in the park. you should be able to complete both rotor replacements within an hour with no cursing or headache!
