Subject: Fuel Pump Noise after replacement
IP: Logged

Message:
I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota SLT Club Cab. At 79,900 miles I had the fuel pump replaced becase of a loud whinning noise that was comming from it. Now at 88,800 miles the noise is back and the "new" fuel pump has only about 8800 miles on it. Is this normal for a MOPAR part? Might I have gotten a defective part?

I think you found the answer. My '00 QC has about 125k on it and the fuel pump is as quite as the first day I drove.
