Subject: Clunking In Rain
IP: Logged

Message:
I've read dozens of posts about Dakota front end noise, but mine
gets even more strange. When the roads have been dry, the
suspension is quiet. After a heavy rain, I get clicks and pops from
the front suspension during normal driving - does not have to be a
rough road. The truck can be going straight down the road, or in
a turn, does not matter. After it's been dry for a couple days, it
seems fine except for an occasional clunk. Anyone experience this
or have an idea what it may be? It's a 2001 club cab 3.9 auto 2x4
with 60,000 miles.
