My 98 dakota 4wd manual has many of the same problems that other people have listed. The parking brake light and abs light came on about a month ago, and just this past week my speedometer starting going wacky and then finally died on me. When I am slowing down, if I put my truck in neutral, it stalls and the steering wheel locks up. I replaced the speed sensor in the rear diff and that didn't help. I am guessing it may have something to do with the tran sensor that many of you have talked about, but are there any other ideas out there? Nobody has been talking about stalls or speedometers completely dead that have fixed their problems with just the rear speed sensor. Thanks for any help.

have you check for any stored codes? the stalling could be unrelated to the brake/abs/speedo problem.
