Message: Quit breathing so heavy. No seriously,is this in the daytime or at night when it is dark and really cooled off? The sensor for the temp gage may be in the overhead console, if it is you maybe getting heat transfer from the hot roof of your dak and that will make it read high, especially on a hot sunny day. Just something to check out. Then again it could be a faulty sensor or a mis-calibrated one.

Message: The temp.sensor for outside temp. is located
on the passenger side of the radiator bracket
up front it looks like a small button with two
wires running to it.If it is sitting in the sun
or if you have stopped driving it will pick up
the ambient temp. of the underhood area. Try
driving at above 45 for a period of time it should start dropping.
