 Subject: 1999 Dakota Ball Joints

Apparently the ball joints on my 1999 Dakota 4X4 Club Cab are not covered under the recall, is that true or is the dealer lying to me just so they don't have to fix it? I was under the impression that 1999 was covered under the recall. The inside of the front tires are wearing, and I assume it's from the crappy ball joints used. What else could it be? I bought the truck with 37K on it and the tires were worn then, I put new tires on it and now at 70K it is right back where it started, Ball Joints or not? Covered under the recall or not?

http://www.dodge.com/owners/index.html follow this link and put your VIN number in and it should tell you if your truck is involved in the recall. If it doesnt send me your whole VIN and I'll run it directly online at their repair site
