HI every one in dak land Im new obviously but I have an imporntant question about VALVE CHATTER!I RECENTLY bought a FINE new truck a 98 3.9 5speed dak great truck great torque but when I run a lower grade of gas during low RPM I get valve chatter its a 98 for crying out loud

Could be a faulty spark plug. That will cause valve chatter. Had it happen to me. The thing started making a chater and like you im like what the hell. So i brought it in expecting a big deal and all he did was change the plugs and it ran great. He said the 3.9 is known to chatter when the plugs go faulty and by faulty i dont mean not fireing just intermitent or a small spark.
