my check engine light came on and i checked the code and got 0463, what the heck is this, i cleared my cpu and it went off for a short time and came back on again, anyone know what to do next to get this thing to go away?

Fuel Level Sender Voltage Too High
possible short in wiring near fuel tank !
How full is tank ?
Also possible - poor ground " chassis " connection
= check all that you can find..

What year/model is this on? There are TSB's which cover this code (PCM update). Voltage too high means a short to voltage - not a ground issue.
It can be a bad sending unit, bad wiring, bad PCM.
