I'm trying to remove the wipers arms on my '97 Dakota. I know there is a decorative cover that can be removed and I've removed the nut underneath but I can not get the wipers off. There is a small inset on each side of the wiper arm at the nut that looks like a puller might be needed. Are they just pressed on and do I need a puller to get them off? There is no leverage beneath the wiper since the cowling is plastic.

Thanks

They are a wedge fit and the nut sucks them together pretty good otherwise they would wear out in nothing flat. As a rule you can wiggle them off while pulling hard. I've never had to do this any other way myself.

So many problems .... So little time
