Message: Greetings,
Curious if anyone else out there is having a problem with these? We are looking at adding more to our rental fleet but not if we continue to have this issue.
Out of our three 2005s we have changed two already.
Condsidering the recall for up to 2003 it seems a valid consideration that this is still an unresolved problem.
Of course they only do the failed one under warranty and we are struggling to get them to tell us the cost to just change out the others. We are still stuck with two $700+ towing bills due to our location so if we are not goint to get paid for that and loss revenue we would happily pay to have it done in andvance :(
We are in a extremely hilly (35% grade common) area with many hairpin tight turns under slow speeds with a full 7 passengers in the vehicles at all times.

Message: You are probably better off getting aftermarket
MOOG or similar installed which have grease fittings- at least if , you are willing to get them greased at regular intervals..
