Subject: Ball Joint Stuff IP: Logged
Message: Ok, now, about 4 months ago i took my dak ('97 5.2) in for the ball
joint problem on both sides, but mostly the driver side. They were
all replaced and redone and lubed over. Now, 4 months later, it's
back to the ol' popping and snapping noises it used to do while
applying the brakes and hitting bumps. I just don't want the wheel
to come off while on the freeway or something. What should I do, i
know i pry wont take it to Sears again. And i am also not skilled
enough to do it myself.
-Thanks

Message: did anyone bother to check the control arm bushings? if you can't do the work yourself, i'd take it to a reputable shop that preferably specializes in front end work.
ask freinds who have had similar work done in your area.
