Message:
I just bought a 2002 quad cab dakota and after driving for about half an hour I am smelling a burning rubber smell from my front wheel wells. I took it back to the dealer and they replaced a brake hose saying that should fix it but I am still smelling it. Anyone got any suggestions on what it could be?

Take a real close look around your manifolds/ headers and exhaust pipes towards the engine compt. If it's not a short in wiring you should be able to see a hose touching exhaust or close enough to it to over heat

So many problems ... So little time

Could be the heater hose fell off the silly little holder on the valve cover.

When I installed the Gibson headers the passanger side cooked the suspension mount.
