Are there any "issues" I should be worried about with this particular model?
So far, so good. I guess the previous owner took real good care of her, but I just don't wanna be caught by surprise.

Watch out for the cat convertor if it has not already been replaced. I had a 99 4x4 w/5.2. The transfer case cracked the u joint had excessive wear and the output speed sensor quit all around the same time. The brakes were great and lasted 44,000 miles with the bed loaded most of the time with 400 pounds of equopment.

I wrote a thread about it in the "General" section, but needless to say, I had to have about $2,200 (and counting) worth of repairs done to the truck

well, I guess I had it easy since that was all covered under warranty. I just found this site today and didn't pay attention to the date on your post.

Just had a pinging problem which was fixed under warrenty. Blown belly gasket was the problem. No other problems. 48,000 miles
