 Subject: Body Control Module

Hey anybody out there have trouble with the wipers on their truck? I cannot use the wipers in delay mode because it makes my lights (inside and headlights) flicker~ I was told that it is the body control module~ Just wonder how many others are have similiar issues?

I recently had a problem where the headlights began flickering of their own accord. It was not related the wipers.
It turned out to be the Central Timer Module (CTM). I believe some folks call this the body computer.
It was about $300 to get replaced.
I had a look at replacing it on my own. Mechanically it is not difficult. The problem is that it needs to be programmed to match the options in your truck and that requires special equipment.
The CTM controls all kinds of things - keyless remote, factory alarm, headlights, wipers, radio controls, etc.

Where is the body control module located on a 1995 Dodge Caravan?
none of my instruments and gages work including trunk latch power door locks and inst. panel lights.

Dennis the BCM is on the drivers side footwell depending on the trim level behind the e brake pedal or above your feet attached near the base of the column. leave the keys in the ignition and the door open and listen for the chimes the BCM is the chime module also. a possible fix for your problem is to unplug your module with the key off wait 30 secs and plug it back in and see if it solves your problem these modules had sticky relays inside and disconnecting the ground usually solved it it was a TSB for while with replacing the unit with an exchange BCM if it happened too often hope this is helpful to you

My 2003 GMC Sierra has been great. Then my engine temperature quit reading, I replaced the sending unit, nothing, returned it and installed another one and still nothing. Now my speedometer is reading wacky, and when I cut off my engine it reads around 20-30mph. And to top it off the windshield wipers will not cut off, about a week ago it would take 30-45 seconds to finally go off after I would turn them off. Could this be the body control module? Or are all these things going out all at once?...Joe

My wifes dual climate control (driver side) has went out...Its a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer...the gauge on it doesn't work and it doesn't blow air...like the vent is blocked. Any suggestions?

i have a trouble that is similar than yours.
Rear window wipers in delay mode works bad.
Wipers stop everywhere on window never in same position.
in normal mode it works better but sometimes, it stops and it's difficult to restart...

my 2003 dodge dakota has a problem with the door automatically unlocking after i lock them and close the doors. like id lock them, then close doors and every 30 seconds the locks would unlock.. then 30 seconds unlock.. all the time, which came to point where my battery died and couldnt start my truck so i unplugged one of the plugs on the BCM which stopped that while i was parked. it was doing it then after awhile of unplugging and replugging it stopped doing it.. then after a little while it started up again. any ideas?

my dodge Dakota started acting up it wold stop suddenly after 5 minutes it would start i went crazy changing parts one mechanic said gas pump other map sensor other crank shaft position sensor
apparently its the BCM ECU

Local:786-879-7566. This was the best price that i found and with life time warrant.
