Message: Does anyone know how to bypass the daytime running lights on a 96 Dakota 3.9L 4x4 Sport?
I installed tinted headlight covers on my black truck.....looks awesome but the headlights are on all of the time, kind of ruins the effect.
There is no fuse to remove, that woulds make sense.

Message: The Daytime Running Lights in my 2001 are programmed into the Central Timer Module. I learned this the hard way when my DRL started acting up.
As far as I know there is no fuse specific to DRL. The dealer can set whether or not they are active when programming the CTM.
It may be different in a '96.

Russell
