Message: Ok, did a little research, can get either a Resonator Tip for the exhaust pipe or replace the muffler with a Resonator one ???? Am I close, which would most likely do the trick, only want the DRONE gone -

Message: you leave the muffler and put a resonator up-stream. the 05`s have a resonator ,maybe the dealer could order one since it`s a stock item now and save you some cash. ask them about it. or call Magnaflow tech service line, they will help you out. good luck

Message: My 2000 3.9L drones like a son of a gun at about 1500 RPM, but i have a louder muffler too. I like it at times though.

Message: Follow up on my 1st post, returned truck to Dealer at his request, they loosened complete exaust system, from headers all the way to tail pipe and slightly repositioned the system, moved less than 1\4 inch, and tightened everything back down, "NO MORE DRONE", maybe this will help someone else down the road - GREAT FORUM keep up the good work everybody
