I own a 1995 Dodge Avenger..It broke down completely about 2 months agao..At 1st, we thought it was the water pump, then the hoses..Now come to find out it's the headgasket!! The cheapest estament I have recieved was for $700; the most was for $2400!! My Brother in law told me that there was an advisory on this car but I have yet to find it!! Him & my Sister got their cars fixed for free because of this & they too own a Dodge..One neon & one Avenger..Why do they get there cars fixed & I'm having to go without one?!? I rented a car for 6 weeks because I have to have a way back & forth..That ended up costing me around $1000!! I need a break & I need my car..I lost my home along with all my belongings in September because of Hurricane Frances & I can't take much more of this..Please if any of ya'll know of some recall or advisory on my car, let me know. Thank you ;)

No recall. Contact DC Customer service (1-800-992-1997) and explain your circumstances. If the mileage on your car is not too high, they may consider some assistance. They will instruct you to take it to a dealership and have the issue inspected. The dealership will then contact DC for advisement. Make sure you jot down the case # given by DC on the phone.

Thank you Jason..I'm going to call them 1st thing in the morning..And by the way, my car has right at 57,000 miles..Not bad for a 95 huh??
