Subject: where can I read TSB for belly pan? IP: Logged
Message: 3.9 v6. The intake needs to come off and the plenium gasket needs to be replaced. I'm trying to find out how many hours it's worth so I can argue with the dealer. Can anyone tell me where to look?

Message: Jason, is that a universal rate or just a suggested time determined by chrysler? Basically my question is if a shop tries to charge me $500 plus parts/fluids can I take this information to them and argue with them, or would I be at their mercy?

Message: The time I gave from Motor Manual is a time guide used by many service repair facilities. My V-8 belly pan gasket repair cost me around $425.00 (about $115 parts and fluids and $312.00 on labor).
Ask them to break down their estimate by parts total and labor total and ask them what time guide is used for the estimate.
