Just thought I would post this here in case this may apply to some of you, but you are not notified.
SAFETY RECALL - WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR
DaimlerChrysler Corporation has decided that a defect, which relates to motor vheicle safety, exists in some late 2002 through 2004 model year Dodge Dakota trucks and late 2002 and 2003 model year Dodge Durango vehicles. In addition, this recall also involves a small number of 2000 through early 2002 model year Dakota and Durango vehicles that had a service replacement windshield wiper motor installed.
The rest is pretty much generic stuff..."Contact your dealer", "repair vehicle free of charge".

Message: Got the same notice a couple months ago. Never had a problem with my wipers, but took it in just to be safe. My wipers quit for about 30 seconds the day after they were 'fixed'. They seem to quit arbitrarily about once a week. I've decided to ride my motorcycle more often.
