Subject: A/C, Vent problem, 98 5 speed

I have an 98 Dakota 5 speed with about 75K miles on the odo. The A/C and vent system seems to get 'stuck' and switches to blowing the air through the defroster vents. At first this only happened during hard acceleration, now it also does this when I'm driving over 70 mph in fifth gear.

Does it sound like there's a vacuum leak? Is this a common problem?

I have had a couple of electrical problems with this truck too. Once every few months, the power windows won't go up or down. When this happens, the circuit breaker in the fuse box is extremely hot. The electric fan stuck on once (so far) and the circuit breaker under the hood was exteremely hot then too. Is this only happening to me?

Last is the power door lock switch that only locks, but doesn't unlock. Is this a common flaw?
