Ever since we purchased our 04 Quad Cab, we have noticed excessive wind noise coming from the back of the cab. Sounds like a window is open just a fraction. Let my wife drive and I got into back seat to see where the noise was coming from. Appears to be coming from the back glass on both sides.Noise is really bad when there is a heavy crosswind. Does anyone else have this problem and what is the solution?

I have the wind noise as well. I have an '04 QC 4x4 and I cant find where it is comming from......

we recently bought a 04 dakota QC and we have a really bad wind noise coming from the from windshield and maybe from the back drivers side door.

I have a 2001 Quadcab and the entire cab seems to cavatate when I open the rear windows at highway speeds. It appears that D/C didn't do many wind tunnel tests with the windows open...
It kind of sucks because I do a lot of highway driving and it would be nice to be able to open all four windows and really let the breeze in.
Ah well, just goes to show you that they were far more concerned with asthetics than function. Live and learn...

If you have a sliding rear window, you can open it and that helps the buffeting. If you dont have a slider, try just opening one rear window, or dont open them as much. Every 4-door truck I have been in has this problem.

usually after eating a big bowl of chili with beans I get some really big wind noises.
