well, i had a left upper balljoint needed replacing to pass VT state inspection. Dealer qouted me $132, told me to call Chrysler and ask for them to pay for it, said someone else had gotten reimbursed for their balljoint. Called chrysler today, and sure enough they are paying for it, parts and labor.
I think thats pretty good, since my truck (a 2000) is well out of warranty. Also pretty good that the Chrysler dealer (Foster Motors, Middlebury, VT) suggested i call Chrysler, considering many bad stories about dealerships that are circulating.
Any of you with balljoint issues should call Chrysler and ask them to cover it.
Well sorry for my long post, just happy and hope this helps someone.

Happy? Why? Because a part failed long before it should have? Because you got a replacement part that's just as shoddy as the original? I'm not trying to be a smartalec, I'm just at a loss as to where the 'happiness' is coming from in this scenario.

Do you have the nmber to call?
I had to replace my uppers to pass Pennsylvania inspection. I did it myself with aftermarket joints instead of using the crappy Mopar parts.
'02 Sport 4.7 auto, Gibson exhaust, homebrew K&N cold air, 275/60 BFG Radial T/A's, Infinity CD w/Pioneer & Infinity spkrs & Kenwood powered sub.

I had chrysler pay for mine also but you need original receits.Tell you the truth they need to rework front suspension period.
