 Subject: heater core fix ??

has any one try'd cutting a hole in the fire wall & pulling the heater core out from the outside. is this possable? it seems this would be a time saver & the next time it leakes you would have access. let us know if its possable or anyone has try'd this. by the way i have a 2000 (not that it matters it seems they all leak). thanks
