I know I've read this somewhere but I'm having a few problems. We just picked up my truck and were surprised to see that it had no hood light. Mine is the 2001 RC SLT 4.7L. The dealer showed me the brochure and it doesn't metion the hood light as part of the light group but the hood light is in the light group according to Dodge's website. Do I have a point of argument? What kind of truck doesn't have the hood light (I even had an early 1980's Ford that did.....
If I have a point of argument, whom do I get firm with? The dealer??

Hood lite was dropped in the 2001. I know that a couple of guys have conned the dealer into ordering and installing one due to the fact it was included in the brochure but some dealers won't do it.

I wouldn't worry about it because the hood light was garbage to begin with. I barly lit itself up. But you have no argument because on all there brochures and on there websight there is a notice in fine print saying that the information may be changed and that they have the right to do it (somthing like that)
