Subject: dash lights stay on IP: Logged
Message: I have a 98 dodge dakota. the gauges stop work and the low washer fluid light, the ABS light, low fuel light and check engine light come on. i check for codes and there were none. It seem only to happen when i hit the brake hard or hit a large bump. if i turn off the truck and wait for a hour or some it is back to normal. can any one help me

sorta like when the Doctor aaskes "does it hurt when you do _______ ? Then tells you that the best way to make it stop hurting is not to do it anymore.

Message: Dodge used the wrong kind of dielectric grease in 97 and on some 98's for the connector to the gauge cluster. Remove your cluster, clean the connector and reinstall it.
And don't listen to sh1t for brains like the stupid smart@ss above me.
