1997 Dodge Dakota SLT 3.9 v6 longbed.
The other day my headlights puked out. Then the next day I drove the car all day, in the evening I turned them on and presto they came on then when I moved the truck I seen the headlights kinda flicker but stayed on. Used them to get back home and now they work, Noticed recall on standard tranny newer models but wondered if anyone ever had this problem???? Kurt

My lights had some flicker a couple weeks ago then quit last week unless I held dimmer switch. The problem was a bad terminal on the light switch. The connector on the wiring harness melted and I am having to splice a junk yard replacement in to connect the new light switch. My parents car had the same problem about a year ago. Check your connections to the switch and light switch. Good luck.

Recently my transmission has been acting up in the mornings, works fine later.
Seems to miss a gear and run high rpms, I usually let off the gas and it slips into either high or overdrive.
