As far as the ball joints go, my wheel actually did fall of. Messed up all kinds of stuff, and dodge said my truck missed the recall by one month. what a bunch of b.s. Any way my '03 3.9 is only getting 14mpg on the hwy. I've completed a full tune up with no improvement. Anybody have any ideas for me.

i have a 97' base model dodge dakota with the 3.9 and i absolutely love the truck i just really want more power out of it.... i'm on a very limited budget and i can do the work myself. can u guys give me any suggestions?
