i have a 2001 dakota and my cat converter started rattling a couple days before my new flowmaster exhaust was supposed to get installed. i contacted the dealer about it and they made an appointment for a week later. basically i now have the flowmaster put on and i still have the bad cat that needs to be taken in to the dealer in a couple days. now the problem is will they think it was my custom exhaust causing the cat to go bad and not cover it for this reason?? it really broke with the stock exhaust on it and they will probably try to blame it on my new exhaust. any suggestions on what to do or say??

If they start on that crap ask them if they are familiar with the federal Magnuson Moss act! thatt'll shut them up!
