I recently purchased a 1996 Dodge Dakota SLT extended cab. It has a 3.9 engine, V6 magnum. The problem is when I turn the key on the speedometer goes to 30 mph while it is not moving. I was told that it was the speed sensor, but it was changed and didn't help. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

I was wondering if there are any problems with the 1990 Dodge Dakota speedometers? Ours all of a sudden is reading 10mph more than it's actually reading.
