Subject: Idle-Brake problem!!!

ALright, I am having many problems with my 1999 Dakota R/T. When i put my truck in Drive without stepping on the gas, it doesnt move. Its like having it in Neutral! I'm not sure what's wrong with it! I was told it could be my brakes, they could always be pressing down.

And also, when i am driving it, it rides at high RPM's. I could be going around 50 mph and let off the gas and my truck will slow down FAST.

OR, someone else told me that it could be my Air intake. I have a K&N cold air intake on it. I noticed a crack in it and it was sucking in from the crack badly! I burned oil in my truck fast too! So my friend said that i could have sucked something bad into my truck! I hope thats not it. but i taped the crack in the air intake and i am not driving my truck until the new air intake arrives.

Well, can someone help me please. Thanks alot !!!!!!
Matt
