Got this from a member on the DML a while back. Thought i'd post it for some light-hearted fun.

-----------------------------------------------

---NEWSFLASH-12-18-00---Ford recommends Mustang owners avoid Dodge Dakotas of any make and year to avoid worsening of design flaws that keep the engine from producing needed power. Ford representatives have been quoted as saying, "In most driving circumstances, the flaw turns what would be a pleasant sports car into a brick on the road...A slow one...We just can't keep up with those damn Dakota's and their mighty Magnums..."

Many late model Mustang owners have compained about "country boy trucks with all sorts of {expletive}in the back" being quicker, faster, and generally showing up their own lighter, more aerodynamic sports cars. Ford blames the manufacturer of the engine control modules, initially designed for the Ford Escort, but used in Mustang V6-V8 equipped autos for undisclosed reasons.

Under criticism for an unprecedented number of recalls in the past year, Ford refuses to recall estimated 5 million cars affected by this warning, stating, "...There's just nothing we can do. The Ford Motor Company cannot afford to replace alost 5 million engines for the 4.7L Cobra engines. Not that we want to, I mean, it's not like we care about our customers. They should be happy with what they have. It's not like their driving Pointiac Aztecs..."

(This newsflash is a joke. I accept no responsibility for people who would think this is serious. Those people would be idiots...:)

Have fun. :)
