It could be a noisey fuel injector (that'd be my
guess). Generally, ticking sounds are normal,
but knocking sounds are bad.

Hope this helps,
Lemmers

What, nope, can't hear it over the 'offspring' jamming on the infinity system in my QC!

Could be alot of things, the auto tranny, elec fuel pump, zip tie on the drive shaft, etc.

You know, I've noticed that the wheels go round and round and this thing I was told is called the odometer(has a bunch of numbers on it on the lower left hand corner of the dash board) keeps changing/increasing. I better call the dealer and complain about that.

Check near the left fender well. There is an emissions device there (leak check pump) that makes a clicking noise. I thought I had a lifter or injector going bad, until I located the culprit. It removes vapor from the fuel tank and charcoal canister and checks for air leaks in the emissions system at startup.

If you have the 3.9 i also have this ticking sound at all rpms i think it is the normal dodge lifter tick. My 79 duster straight 6 had the same tick.
