Message: Well I've had my Durango for about 6,000 and around 2,000 the headliner starts falling down. Dealer said they would fix it... which they didnt. It started to fall back down about 10 minutes after I left the dealership. So i went back in today and they are going to replace it. What a pain.

Message: I got tired of dealing with the headliner. I removed the panel from the cab and very carefully pealed off what was left holding on. I went to the paint store and picked up some faux granite spray paint that would accent the interior colors.
Be sure to get the clear coat spray that they sell with the paint. It really finishes the job nice and stops the paint from deterioration later on. Use more than one coat, the material you are applying to does better with a heavy coating.

Message: Hi, saw your post.
Did this cover up the "old glue" on the headliner?
I have an old 1978 Buick, has puncture holes here and there and am looking into something like this rather than replacing with the typical "foam backed headliner".
Were you happy with the results?
Thanks
