well i got the new belt on and it still makes the noise. not as often but its still there none the less. what should i change next the pully, bearings, or the tensioner assembly.

it's either the idler pulley or the tensioner i bet.

It's most likely the tensioner, I had the same problem with my 99' and once we changed that it was a ok!

Just had a 3.9 belt replaced on my 2003. Thought is was idler pulley noise. Dealer said belt. 16,000 miles. It was replaced at no charge (under warranty).
