I just got a 92 Dakota.I just spent the afternoon replacing the water pump but the temp guage doesnt work can any one give me an idea where to look for the sender? Also the maitence required light is on too can this be from the inop temp guage? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Bill

on older dodges the engine maintenence light is triggered by your odometer, it is just a reminder to give it an ignition tune-up and to check the electronic engine controls, you need a scanner to reset it. On most vehicles the water temp sender is very near the thermostat horn.
