Message:
I have a 93 4x4 Dakota, and about 2 weeks ago I went to pull the e-brake and the handle with BRAKE printed on it came off. I looked a little closer and the inside of the handle appears to be stripped. I tried pressind it back on but it just came off a few days later. Now I am just pulling on the rod attached to the cable.

The handle broke on my 92 several years ago. They are not too expensive and they are avail at the Dodge dealer.

My '89 did the same thing too.
I have been reaching for and pulling the handle for 3 years now. :>
I'll have to get around to fixing that one of these days...
Sounds like Dodge has a little problem here though doesn't it?

No problem, I just used some JB Weld on the old handle and it still on there.
