Message: Try looking at the stabilizer bar end bushings or center bushings.. if you can see light through them or the metal around them is super shiney then you have a problem!

Message: The dealer said I'd need a new rack and pinion unit. My buddy at Firestone replaced the loose shaft to the right wheel, did a free alignment on my lifetime contract and all was well.
Other clunks have been caused by ball joints; check by jacking the A-arm and pulling side to side and top and bottom. If the wheel hangs free, as on a rack, you can't feel the bad joint.

Message: I've heard it said quite a few times now...the thud when you are turing, especially a sharp turn, is one of your cab mounts. I have the same problem but have not had time to take a look at it. I'm not even sure what to do to it, anyone have an idea? replace bushings?
