 Subject: Ghost Door Locks

I have a '01 Quad Cab SLT and after ~8,000 miles the door locks started locking and unlocking by themselves. I took it to the dealer and they couldn't recreate the problem so I drove it home. It again happened that night while driving or with keys out of the ignition. I even tore into the keyless entry. I took it back again and they ended up keeping it almost a month. I called the dealer complaining that I was making a payment on a vehicle that he was driving home(road testing..ha). Quickly after that call he called back and had JUST talked to a dealer in Austin, TX that had the same problem. Truck would be ready next day.
The dealer ended up replacing faulty door switches all 4 and now they work like a charm.
Hopefully some of you won't have to go through this.
