i was wanting too purchase a ext warr. for my 2001 quad cab 5.9.
D.C. has not offered me one yet...should i go with a ext warrantie company like warrantie gold or the like?????
any thoughts and ideas are helpful

I get the D/C warranty when I choose to buy an extended one. Whichever you choose, be sure to read the fine print very carefully. Not everything is covered by all warrnty cos. I figured that I would have less problems with D/C's coverage. The dealer would be real familiar with it.

I will tell you now, they do not offer an extended warranty! It is a Service Contract. There is a big difference between the two.

I have a service contract (warranty extension) with Warranty Gold. They are great - with the couple of things they covered, they have paid for themselves!
