Subject: '01 QC noise?? IP: Logged
Message: Took my QC to the dealer today. It's makeing a "clunking" noise when I brake and accelerate. The mechanic retorqed the body mounts and lubed something or another with no good results, so they ordered rear brake calipers for it. Any others with this problem? Any ideas.

Message: I can't help you. I can only say that my 02 QC has the clunk that sounds like bad universal joints. With the engine running and in park I put the truck in forward and Clunk. Put it in reverse and Clunk. I can have the door open and definately here it from the rear of the truck. I haven't been to the dealer yet. I have only 600 miles.
